Distribution Transformers

Distribution transformers are electrical devices designed to step down voltage from power transmission systems to lower levels suitable for residential, commercial, and industrial applications. These transformers distribute electricity from medium-voltage networks to low-voltage levels, ensuring safe and efficient delivery to end users.

  • Power ratings from 63 kVA up to 2,500 kVA.
  • Nominal voltages: Medium Voltage from 13.2 kV to 33 kV; Low Voltage 0.4 – 0.23 kV.

Power Transformers

How often should dielectric oil analysis be performed?
Se recomienda realizar un ensayo físico-químico anualmente para verificar la rigidez dieléctrica, la presencia de humedad y el estado de oxidación, garantizando así la integridad del aislamiento interno y extendiendo la vida útil del equipo.
Do you comply with environmental safety regulations?
Sí, nuestros equipos están diseñados bajo normas IRAM e IEC. Además, pueden configurarse para utilizar aceites vegetales biodegradables (ésteres naturales) en zonas con requisitos ambientales estrictos bajo certificación ISO 14001.
¿Cómo se realiza el control del nivel de aceite en estos transformadores?
El nivel se monitorea mediante indicadores visuales o magnéticos colocados en el tanque de expansión o en la cuba (en transformadores herméticos). Este accesorio permite verificar constantemente el volumen del líquido aislante, esencial para una correcta refrigeración.
¿Qué función cumple el secador de aire o deshidratador con silicagel?
Este accesorio elimina la humedad del aire que ingresa al transformador. Utiliza cristales de silicagel que actúan como indicador: el color azul señala que están secos y el rosa indica saturación de humedad, advirtiendo la necesidad de su reemplazo para proteger la atmósfera interna del equipo.
